From Cusco || Bicycle tour of Cusco - Inca capital city ||

On this bike tour we will discover many secrets and monuments of the Inca capital. We will visit important archaeological sites such as the fortress of Saqsaywaman or the sacred place of Kenko.
Modalities

When booking, you can choose between two different modalities. Both start at 9:00 a.m. and include pick up at your hotel in Cusco and transfer back:

Cusco and Saqsaywaman Tour (5 hours).

We will go by bus to Tambomachay and, once there, we will begin to know some of the most important archaeological sites of Cusco. We will first access Puka Pukara, an ancient Inca military construction that will leave you speechless.

Then we will get on the bikes and start the route approaching the sacred place of Kenko, a space full of mysteries. Was it a place of worship? A tomb? We will review the main theories!

We will continue the bike tour heading to the viewpoint of the White Christ, which will offer us an incredible panoramic view of Cusco. Nearby is the fortress of Saqsaywaman, whose origins date back to the 15th century. Undoubtedly, one of the most impressive megalithic constructions of the Inca Empire.

The final part of the route will be dedicated to exploring Cusco and its main attractions, such as the Plaza de Armas, before returning to the hotel.

Cusco and Yuncaypata Tour (5 hours)

If you choose this option, we will visit Tambomachay, Puka Pukara, Yuncaypata, Rumiwasi and the viewpoint of San Sebastian while enjoying the beautiful landscapes that surround Cusco.

The first thing we will do is to visit Tambomachay and Puka Pukara as in the previous tour. Next, we will cycle to Yuncaypata to get in touch with the more rural and traditional view of Cusco. Agricultural fields, small Andean villages and trails full of exuberant nature will be the protagonists of our journey.

Before concluding the route, we will visit the site of Rumiwasi and we will explain numerous curiosities related to the agricultural culture of the Inca civilization. We will admire its cultivated fields and we will take a break in San Sebastian to take pictures. After five hours of activity, we will finish the bike tour at the starting point.

Entrance fees to the archaeological sites

Entrance fees to the archaeological sites are not included in the tour. To access the sites, you will have to pay the entrance fee on your own. We recommend you to get the Cusco Tourist Ticket to be able to access all the monuments of the tour without having to worry about anything else.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
