Description

Discover the breathtaking Pallay Punchu Mountain in a single day, another of Cusco's most stunning colorful mountains in the Andes. Hike among its naturally colored rock formations.
The shuttle will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 4:30 a.m., and we will travel for 1.5 hours to reach Cusipata, where we will stop for a delicious buffet breakfast.

Then, we will continue our journey by vehicle for another 1.5 hours until we reach Layo. The village of Layo is located at an elevation of 3,978 meters above sea level. You will receive information from your expert guide along the way and have free time to take photos.
We will then continue by vehicle to the parking area for our transport, after which we will begin our approximately 45-minute hike to the highest point at 4,770 meters above sea level. There, we will have free time for photos, a presentation by our guide, and then return to our vehicle.
Our next stop will be at the Raqchi Archaeological Complex – the Temple of Viracocha – to see its iconic structures. Here, we will find the largest number of colcas (granaries), and we will also see magnificent stone and adobe buildings. After this visit, we will return to Cusipata to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and then return to Cusco at approximately 6:00 pm, ending our tour near the Main Square.
