Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco - Cachora - Chiquisca
After picking you up at your hotel in Cusco between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m., we will travel by road towards San Pedro de Cachora. In this town we will start our first trekking route. During this trek, which lasts approximately three hours, we will reach the Capulliyoq viewpoint: a perfect spot to see the Apuriamac River and the ruins of Choquequirao in the distance.

From the viewpoint we will walk down a zigzagging trail to Chiquisca. Here we will have lunch and dinner. Overnight until the next day.

Day 2: Chiquisca - Santa Rosa - Marampata - Choquequirao
Once we have breakfast in Chiquisca, we will start a new trekking route. In this stretch, which will take us approximately five hours, we will make two stops: one in Santa Rosa for lunch and another in Marampata to enjoy the views of the surroundings offered by its famous panoramic viewpoint. We will spend the night in a hostel in Marampata.

Day 3: Choquequirao
After breakfast in Marampata, we will walk for about an hour and a half to the ruins of Choquequirao. Known as "Machu Picchu's little sister", the archaeological site still preserves the remains of temples, warehouses and other public spaces that are essential to learn about the history of Latin America in pre-Columbian times.

In the afternoon we will walk back to Marampata, where we will have dinner and rest until the next day.

Day 4: Choquequirao - Playa Rosalina - Capulliyoq- Cusco
We will have breakfast to recharge our batteries and walk back to Capulliyoq. We will make a stop at Playa Rosalina, and then we will head to Chikiska. Once there, we will have lunch and continue through the Apurimac valley to Capulliyoq, where the vehicle will pick us up to return to Cusco.

The route includes accommodation in local hostels.
