Explore one of the seven wonders of the modern world, the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu and learn about its Inca history, the Andean mysticism of this world wonder.
1. Cusco - Ollantaytambo
The tour starts with the pick-up from your hotel located in the historical center of Cusco at 4:00 a.m. (recommended time), then we board our transportation and head to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo for approximately 2 hours.
2. Ollantaytambo Train Station
Once located at the train station we can find 2 companies Inca Rail and Peru Rail that operate the route Ollantaytambo - Machupicchu Pueblo (round trip). We will board the tourist train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, the travel time is approximately 2 hours.
3. Machupicchu town
Once you arrive at the train station in Machu Picchu Pueblo our representative of Chullos Travel Peru, will be waiting for you with a sign with your name, to coordinate all the final details before the tour.
Then you will be transferred to the Consettur bus station to board the bus to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu, with a duration of 30 minutes.
At the entrance gate our guide will be waiting for you to start with the tour inside the citadel of Machu Picchu, you will know the most important points for a period of time of 2 hrs 30 min approx.
Once the tour is finished, we will return in the same transportation to Machu Picchu Pueblo, our guide will indicate the place of the restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. You will also have enough time to visit a large part of Machu Picchu village (a small and picturesque village).
4. Return to Cusco city
According to the established time of return to Ollantaytambo, we will go 30 minutes before to the train station to board our respective train to Ollantaytambo (2 hrs approx.); our mobility will be waiting for your arrival for the respective transfer to return to the city of Cusco, the approximate time of arrival is at 8:30 pm.
