Description

Enjoy cultural attractions of ancient history such as: The Sistine Chapel of America or Andahuaylillas, the Temple of the god Wiracocha, la Raya, View of Nevado Chimboya, and the Museum of the Pukara.
Day 1:
We will pick you up at your lodging to take you to the bus terminal in Cusco (6:30 a.m. approx.)
First, we will visit the Sistine Chapel of Andahuaylillas, known for the beauty of its murals inside (the visit lasts approx. 25 min.)
Then we will visit the archaeological site of Raqchi, also known as the temple of the god Wiracocha.
After the visit to Raqchi, we will go to the tourist restaurant located in Sicuani.
After lunch, we will go to the Paso of La Raya, where the snow-capped mountain of Chimboya is located (the visit lasts approx. 7 to 10 min).
Finally, we will visit the Lithic Museum of Pukara, located at Pukara, which is located 106 km from the city of Puno.

Finally, we will go to Puno arriving at 5:00 pm approximately. Our transportation will pick you up to take you to your lodging.
Day 2:
We will start the tour by picking you up from your hotel approximately at 7.30 a.m. approx.
Then we will go to the port where the boats, we will take the motor boat to visit the floating islands of the Uros.
At the floating islands, our guide will explain us the interesting history of the islands and the local culture.
After the explanation, you will have free time to walk around the island, take pictures, and spend a little more than an hour visiting two floating islands. visiting the two floating islands.
We will have a guided visit to Uros Island which is built with totora reeds by its inhabitants, the same is used for the construction of their homes, boats (rafts), fuel, and as food for human consumption.
Afterward, we will head to the island of Taquile. We will have a one hour walk to get to the village, and observe the scenery and customs. We will have a typical lunch in a local restaurant.
Finally, we return to Puno and arrive at Puno at 5.00 p.m. (boat).
