The Mountain of Colors, located at 5000 meters above sea level, is the second most visited tourist spot in Cusco after Machu Picchu. It's super striking because of its natural colors, which come from the oxidation of minerals.

We'll start picking you up from any hotel in Cusco at around 4:00 a.m.

Let's start our tour. We'll travel for 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach the first stop, the village of Cusipata, where we'll have a delicious breakfast buffet.

After breakfast, we'll continue our 2-hour journey to the Mountain of Colors bus parking lot. During the trip, you'll enjoy the beautiful Andean landscape and spot birds, llamas, and alpacas.

Once at the Montaña de Colores bus parking lot, we'll start the hike with our expert tour guide. The hike will take 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach the Montaña de Colores viewpoint. On our new route, you can also rent linear motorcycles and horses to skip the hike, after coordinating with the tour guide.

Once at the Mountain of Colors, you'll be able to appreciate the incomparable landscape of the Peruvian Andes and the mountain with its natural colors. Take lots of videos and spectacular photos of the place, then continue with the walk to the Red Valley viewpoint with an additional 35-minute journey (pay an entrance ticket of 20 Soles). Heads up! If you don't want to continue to Valle Rojo, you can head back from Montaña de Colores to the bus station, just coordinate with the guide first.

Once the whole group is back at the bus parking lot, we'll head back to the village of Cusipata for a delicious Peruvian buffet lunch. The journey will take about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Then we'll head back to the city of Cusco
The tour ends at 4:30 p.m., about one block from the main square, for the whole group.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
