Day 1: Cusco City - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes
Embark on your adventure as we pick you up from your hostel at 9:30 a.m. for a scenic drive to Ollantaytambo. Board the train at 12:55 p.m. for Aguas Calientes, where our staff awaits your arrival around 2:50 p.m. They'll escort you to the hostel where you'll spend the night. Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, serves as the gateway to the magnificent Machu Picchu. It's a popular tourist hub, making it an ideal overnight stop before your early morning journey to the sacred Incan citadel. While it's primarily a layover, the town offers everything you need—restaurants, shops, and even massage parlors. Rest up for an early night, preserving your energy for the exciting day ahead! Accommodation: Hotels (double, twin, triple, and 4-beds) - subject to availability.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco City
Ascent to Machu Picchu by bus or on foot. Today, we'll seize the chance to witness a magical moment: the sunrise at Machu Picchu. To make this possible, an early wake-up is necessary. Around four in the morning, breakfast will be served at our accommodation, followed by a journey to the bus stop that takes us to the Inca Citadel (keep in mind it's the sole bus line for this trip, and there's usually a queue). Guided tour at Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, we'll rendezvous with our guide and enter Machu Picchu to marvel at the sunrise. Post that, a two-hour guided tour awaits, with free time until lunch. Visitors opting for Machu Picchu Huayna Picchu Mountain will head to its entrance, climbing for 1hr 30m, spending a prudent amount of time. Following the guided tour and free time in Machu Picchu or the visit to Machu Picchu Huayna Picchu Mountain, we'll board a shared bus to Aguas Calientes. Return by Train to Ollantaytambo. In Aguas Calientes, optional visits to sites like Hot Springs, Museum, Handicraft Centre are available. Later in the afternoon, we'll take the train back to Ollantaytambo. After a 2-hour train ride to Ollantaytambo, upon arrival, our staff will be waiting with a sign bearing the company logo to take you to board the bus headed for the city of Cusco, approximately a 2-hour journey, leaving you near your hotel.
