Description
The Ausangate to Montaña de Colores Tour was planned to explore the different mountains and lagoons surrounding Vinicunca, which are located near the highest snow-capped peak in Cusco.
Day 1: Cusco - Checacupe - Mirador Ausangate - Pucacocha - Anata
Our tour begins in Cusco where we will pick you up between 4:30 to 5:00 am to board our private transportation to the town of Checacupe, the approximate travel time is 2 hours, before breakfast we will stop in the village to enjoy the old bridges: Inca, Colonial and Republican, then we continue our journey in the direction of Quesiuno 4,326 masl. We will begin our hike to Hampatuyoc or Ausangate and Pucacocha viewpoint (1 hour and a half hike approx.) in this area is also lunch.
After lunch we will walk approximately 3 and a half hours to Anata camp at 4,885 masl. We will have tea time in the afternoon near the Ausangate glacier and the Winicunca chain.
Day 2: Paso Winicunca - Montaña de Colores - Cusco
On this day we will enjoy the most complete and beautiful views of the Montaña de Colores and the entire Winicunca mountain range. Early in the morning, after breakfast we will walk through reddish mountains Pasta the Winicunca Pass 5,020 masl. for the first spectacular views of the Colors Mountain, it is worth mentioning that "The Ausangate region is incredibly colorful with a Magical and Mystical landscape", then we will begin to descend to the other side of the mountain, on the way we will have incredible views of glacial peaks, lakes, mountains and others.
At the end of the hike our transportation will be waiting for us to take us to the designated place for lunch, and finally back to Cusco to drop us off at our respective hotel.

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
