The Sacred Valley Tour + Maras and Moray is a day trip perfect for those short on time in Cusco, covering Chinchero, Moray, and the Maras Salt Mines.
Early in the morning, our transportation will pick you up from your respective hotel to begin the tour of the sacred valley.
The first point of the tour will be Chinchero, a beautiful and traditional town famous for its textiles and ceramics.
The next point will be the circular agricultural terraces of Moray, which was an experimental agricultural center in Inca times. Following the tour, you will head to the Maras Salt Mines, which contain 3000 ponds from which one of the best salts in the world to date is extracted.
At noon you will have a delicious buffet lunch in a typical restaurant in the Sacred Valley, you will taste the flavors of this region and the best of Peruvian cuisine.
After lunch, the next destination will be Ollantaytambo, known as the living Inca city. Where you will visit its military fortress, which was built to protect the sacred valley from possible invaders.
In the afternoon return to Cusco, and on the route you will visit the archaeological center of Pisaq, which is located on the top of a steep mountain. The most incredible thing is that this important Inca City is shaped like a condor.
Finally, at the end of the incredible VIP Tour of the Sacred Valley, you will arrive in Cusco at night, arriving at approximately 7:30 p.m.
