Sacred Valley of the Incas and Machu Picchu Tour

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is a place of natural beauty and cultural wealth. On the other hand, Machu Picchu is an archaeological treasure considered one of the seven wonders of the world.
Through our tours visiting the Sacred Valley of the Incas and Machu Picchu in 2 days, you will witness the incredible views and magnificent places that house an incomparable history.

In the morning at 07:30 hrs. approx. You will be picked up from your hotel, then you will begin the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, you will go on a tourist transport bus to Pisac. On the route you will make some stops to visit viewpoints, already in the archaeological park of Pisac, you will visit the Inca citadel of Pisac located at the top of the mountain, you will see the cemetery, the terraces and their functions.
Then you will descend by bus to the town of Pisac, where you can visit some local craft shops that are mostly Andean metalwork.
Later you will go to the town of Urubamba, arriving at this point you will be able to enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant and try Peruvian cuisine and more.
After a pleasant buffet lunch, you will take the transport to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. At this site you will see water fountains and “tambos” that had the function of supply and rest in the Inca era.
At the end of the tour, you will have to go to the Ollantaytambo train station to take your train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town). Once arriving in Aguas Calientes, you will be able to rest at the hotel and at night the guide will visit you to tell you about the tour to Machu Picchu.

Day 2: Tour to Machu Picchu by Train
In the morning at the indicated time according to the guide, you will go to the bus station, travel for 30 minutes to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Later they will enter the Inca city of Machu Picchu, the guide will begin the guided tour of the main attractions such as: the guardian enclosure, the temple of the sun, the Intiwatana, the temple of the three windows, the sacred plaza, the temple of the condor , the sacred rock and others. On the tour you will have some free time to take photographs and explore the place on your own.
After the visit to Machu Picchu, you will board the bus that will return to Aguas Calientes where you will have free time to enjoy, in the afternoon you will take the train back to the Ollantaytambo station. Once there, the transportation will return to Cusco (arrival in Cusco at 8:00 p.m. Approx.).
