Discover the Sacred Valley of the Incas and marvel at some of the most famous sites and traditions of this mysterious civilization.
In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco to visit the town of Chinchero, a traditional settlement with a beautiful view of the valley. The inhabitants of the area preserve the artisan traditions and the inherited knowledge of the Incas. You will learn about their traditions from your professional guide, and be able to visit archaeological remains and a beautiful seventeenth-century church.
From Chinchero, you will be transferred to the Living Museum of Yucay, a centre for Andean tradition. Here you can watch demonstrations of textile work, adobe, pottery, and silverware be carried out the same way they were in the 13th Century.
Transfer to Ollantaytambo where you have free time for lunch. Afterwards, you can visit the town and local archaeological site and climb the iconic fortress.
*Visits on Sundays include a tour to the Chinchero market.

To visit Ollantaytambo fortress, it is important that you acquire your Cusco Tourist Ticket (BTC)
People over 18 years of age may enter enclosed spaces only if they are fully vaccinated, providing a virtual or printed certificate. This works for bus travel, any indoor activity, restaurants, hotels, trains, and airplanes.
Minors should only be asymptomatic
Every person must permanently wear a KN95 mask or two masks one on top of the other (surgical mask, cloth mask, or two surgical masks on top).

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
