Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2D/1N

This Inca Trail experience is intended for all adventurous people who want to experience that connection with nature and the Andean energy of the wonderful Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.

You will be picked up from the hotel in the morning (04:00 AM) and transported to the Ollantaytambo train station, where you will take the train to KM 104, the starting point of the Inca Trail, on the route through By train you will enjoy the most beautiful landscapes, from where you can observe picturesque landscapes, until you reach Km. 104, from here you will begin a walk. First you must pass the first checkpoint, after 10 minutes of walking you will reach the archaeological group of "Chachabamba" (2250 meters above sea level), then you ascend an impressive path of approximately two and a half hours to the fascinating archaeological group. from "Wiñaywayna" (2650 meters above sea level), a work of art made by the Incas, where you can enjoy a tasty box lunch. In the afternoon you will continue through a semitropical forest towards the "Intipunku" (the gate of the sun) from where you will be able to enjoy the first panoramic view of the majestic "Machu Picchu". From here you will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can optionally visit the hot springs and spend the night comfortably in the selected hotel in Aguas Calientes.
Day 2: Machu Picchu – Cusco

This day after breakfast you will board the bus to make the 30-minute trip to Machu Picchu. Once in Machu Picchu, it is necessary to present passports and tickets. Then you will visit Machu Picchu, for approximately 2 and a half hours, together with the guide you will take a tour of the most important sites, places such as the Inti Watana, Temple of the Condor, the main square, the sacred rock and others, at the end of the tour you will descend from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes, in the afternoon you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where transportation will be waiting for you to return to the city of Cusco.
