"Qoricancha, the Inca Temple of the Sun, is one of the most sacred and revered structures of the Inca Empire, where they worshiped the most beloved gods they had, one of them was the sun".
Currently, the place is a museum and easily accessible, it has quite a history of how it survived the arrival of the Spanish to Peru and how a syncretism of culture was created within this enclosure.
Itinerary:
-For this tour we have two schedules: in the morning with pickup at 8:00 am and in the afternoon with pickup at 12:30 pm. It is worth mentioning that the tour lasts approximately 5 hours.
-Visits begin with pickup from your hotel (nearby or in the historic center) at the time of the shift you choose. The first center we visit is Qoricancha and our guide will explain its importance to the Incas.
-Afterwards, we will visit Sacsayhuaman, an important Inca military center. We will continue visiting Qenqo (ceremonial center where different rituals were performed on limestone), then we will visit Puka Pukara, a strategic military center from where you can observe what enters and leaves the Inca city, finally we will visit Tambomachay, the center of water worship.
-Then we will return to the city of Cusco, we will leave you near the Plaza de Armas, arrival time in the morning shift 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. approx. and in the afternoon shift 6:30 p.m. approx.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
