Description

Ride 60 km of dunes in a 4x4 dune buggy, go down 7 sandboard descents with champion instructors, watch the sunset, and toast with pisco sours and unlimited cocktails around a desert campfire.
Most tours in Huacachina end when the sun goes down. Ours begins a second act: a campfire in the desert with Pisco sour, passion fruit sour, beer, and rum and cola — the only sandboard sightseeing tour in town that ends with a true Peruvian toast under the stars.

But before the celebration, you have to earn it. After getting kitted out at our base on Av. Ángela Perotti with a helmet, goggles, boots, and board, you'll climb into a Toyota Land Cruiser or Nissan Patrol dune buggy and travel 60 km into the dunes — a true sand rollercoaster with steep climbs and dizzying drops.

Your first stop is a practice dune, where local instructors – several of them competitive sandboard athletes – teach you the technique. Then there are 6 progressive descents on increasingly larger dunes, tailored to your level. The dune buggy picks you up after each descent: you glide more and walk less.

Our team takes photos and videos throughout the experience, which you'll receive for free via AirDrop or WhatsApp.

When the desert turns golden, we climb a panoramic dune above the oasis to watch the sunset. And then comes the campfire, the cocktails and the music – the moment that everyone remembers.
