This full-day guided hike covers 20 km of rugged terrain with an 800-meter elevation gain, taking you through diverse landscapes including native forests, the emerald waters of Laguna Esmeralda, and challenging snow, ice, and muddy paths.
Starting early in the morning with hotel pickup in Ushuaia, your expert certified guide will lead you safely along the trail. Along the way, immerse yourself in the region’s unique flora and fauna, soaking in the breathtaking natural beauty.
The trek culminates at the magnificent Ojo del Albino Lagoon and its namesake glacier. Here, you will enjoy a mini glacier trekking experience equipped with crampons, helmets, and safety gear. This challenging hike requires good physical fitness and prior trekking experience.
