Day 1. Welcome to Peru!
Our representative will be waiting for you at the Lima airport, ready to take you to your hotel in Lima. No further services will be arranged on this day unless requested.
Day 2: Ballestas Islands & Sandboarding in Huacachina
We will leave your hotel at 3:30 a.m., then it will be approximately 3 1/2 hours by car to Paracas. In Paracas, you will have breakfast and then visit the famous Ballestas Islands. This will be by boat, which can accommodate about 30 people. Your tour guide will be with you all the time explaining information about these historical sites.
After that, we will continue with a drive of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to Huacachina for lunch.
After enjoying the dunes, we will head back to the hotel to rest.
Day 3: Nazca Lines and Bus to Arequipa
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at 8:00 a.m. from your hotel to take you to Nasca (to the airfield).
You will fly over the Nazca lines for about 40 minutes while you see the large line drawings of animals and geometric figures that are only possible to appreciate and enjoy from the air. You will have some free time for lunch and then we will go to the bus terminal to start the trip to Arequipa. Once in Arequipa, we will drop you off directly at your hotel.
Day 4: City tour - Arequipa
Get on the Bus Tour and have a panoramic view of the tourist sites of Arequipa is an experience you have to live in your visit to our city. We will visit the most representative places of Arequipa and best of all, a guide will tell you the history and peculiarities of each place you visit.
Day 5: Arequipa - Chivay
At 8:00 a.m. we will pick you up at your hotel in Arequipa and head north towards Chivay. During the trip, we will make a brief stop at the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, where we will meet the vicuñas in their natural environment. Finally, we will arrive in Chivay and you will have an hour and a half of free time to have lunch on your own in a local restaurant. After settling in at the hotel, we will go to the thermal baths of La Calera, where you can relax and enjoy the hot springs. You will be free to spend the night in Chivay as you wish. For example, you can enjoy on your own a dinner accompanied by a folkloric show.
We will end the day by dropping you off at your hotel in Chivay at 5:00 pm.
Day 6: Chivay - Cañon de Colca - Puno
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the Colca Canyon. Arriving at this beautiful natural site, we will be greeted by the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor, a perfect place to take thousands of pictures and admire the nature of one of the deepest gorges in the world.
After breakfast we will leave to the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor to have a spectacular view of the flight of the Condors and observe the depth of the Colca Canyon, we will stop for about an hour. On the way back we will stop in traditional villages like Maca or Yanque and tourist viewpoints then return to Chivay where we will have free time for lunch.
13:00 Departure to the city of Puno and on the way we will make 2 stops in tourist places like; Patapampa and Lagunillas. In total we will make a total journey of 06 hours arriving in Puno (Lake Titicaca) at 19:00 approximately.
Day 7: Lake Titicaca and Family Stay at Amantani Island
Pick up will be between 7:30 am and 8 am. You will be transferred to the port of the lakes where you will take a boat to the floating island of Uros, where you will have time to explore the surroundings.
After this, you will take a boat ride to the next island, Amanti Island, where you will stay with a local family. This night will be a basic, but memorable accommodation, as you will be surrounded by a nice family. This will allow you to have the opportunity to see how the indigenous people of the lake live. In the afternoon, you will hike up the mountain to the Pachatata Temple to watch the sunset and have fun with the locals.
Day 8: Taquile Island and return to Puno.
You will have an early breakfast with the family and take a boat to the next island called Taquile. This island is known for its intricate and rich textile and weaving traditions and sustainable tourism practices. You will have the opportunity to walk around the island and enjoy a delicious lunch by the lake.
You will return to Puno around 3:30 pm and have a free afternoon to relax in Puno.
Day 9: Puno - Cusco Bus
After an early breakfast, we will pick you up between 6:00 am to 6:20 am to transfer you to the bus station, where you will take the tourist bus. This is a full day trip to Cusco. You will enjoy stops along the way and visit some Inca and pre-Inca ruins. When you arrive in Cusco, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.
Day 10: City tour Cusco
Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel, start of the tour 14:00 hrs. Visit: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka pukara and tambomachay. End of the tour at 18:30 hrs.
Day 11: Sacred Valley
Tour starts at 7:30 am. Visit: Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero. Buffet lunch in Urubamba.
Day 12: Short Inca Trail
We will pick you up from your hotel at 4 a.m. Then we will go to the train station and depart by train from Ollantaytambo. The trail follows the Urubamba River until we reach Km 104, where we will begin our hike. After walking for 5 hours, we will arrive at the most beautiful Inca site Machu Picchu.
Day 13: Visit to Machu Picchu and return to Cusco.
We will wake up early to catch one of the first buses to see the amazing sunrise at Machu Picchu. You will have a 2 hour guided tour.
Those with tickets to Huayna Picchu will have time to climb the mountain, which takes about an hour and a half round trip.
Day 14: Rainbow Mountain
Beginning of the tour 4:30 am approx. Breakfast in the village of Tintinco. Hike to the Mountain of Colors 02hrs and a half approx.
Lunch in the village of Tintinco. End of the tour 17:30hrs approx.
Day 15: Salt Maras & Moray
Start: 08:00 to 15:00hrs and visit: Salt mines of Maras Moray Archaeological Center.
Day 16: Cusco - Puerto Maldonado
Today, our representative will arrive at your hotel in Cusco ready to take you to the airport for your departure flight to Puerto Maldonado. This flight should be scheduled in the morning hours, as your arrival in Puerto Maldonado should be no later than 12:00 hrs.
Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, your naturalist guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to a canoe for the trip down the Tambopata River to the lodge.
Day 17: Macaw clay lick
We will get up very early in the morning to enjoy one of the most spectacular jungle spectacles that the jungle has to offer.
In the course of the trip we will contemplate a diverse fauna such as capybaras, jaguars, tapirs, among others.
We will arrive at our destination "El Chuncho" the largest macaw clay lick in the world where 11 species of macaws gather in search of clay to supplement their diet.
Then we will return to our cabins for a well-deserved lunch and rest.
The excursion continues on the Madre de Dios River where we will take a boat ride until we reach the Sandoval Lake, where our new lodge is located in front of the monkey island.
In the evening we will have a photo safari for that we will go in search of caimans.
Day 18: Sandoval lake
The excursion begins with a 3 kilometer hike on a trail through the rainforest until we reach the Sandoval Lake, a jewel of the Tambopata National Reserve.
We will tour the lake in a traditional paddle canoe, we will be able to see different species of birds such as tiger herons, cormorants, among others.
We will also be able to see and hear the monkeys, and if we are lucky we will see some otters. After the activity we will return to the lodge for lunch and rest.
In the evening we will take a night walk to appreciate the great variety of insects, amphibians, etc.
Day 19: Zip Line Circuit - Puerto Maldonado
We will wake up early to go into the jungle and start with the adventure activities in the zip line circuit that consists of sliding 30 meters high over the trees.
At the end of the activity we will return for a delicious breakfast and get our things ready to leave for the city of Puerto Maldonado, this is where our services end.
