From Lima || 2-day private trekking route through Rúpac ||

Discover the ruins of the atavillos citadel, an ancient pre-Inca culture, in this 2-day trekking route through Rupac. You will enjoy a beautiful sunset from the top of the mountain.
Itinerary
Day 1
At the indicated time, we will pick you up at the point of your choice in Lima and head towards the province of Huaral. We will make a stop for breakfast on your own and continue to La Florida, where you can stretch your legs while we buy tickets to the citadel of Rúpac.

After having had lunch, we will depart from the village of Pampas and start a three-hour trekking route to Rúpac, admiring incredible mountain scenery.

We will cross waterfalls, pastures and small streams until we reach the camping area just in time to see a wonderful sunset over Rúpac that will remain forever etched in your retina. Afterwards, we will sit by the fire to rest and enjoy the starry sky.

Day 2
We will wake up at dawn so as not to miss the sunrise over Rupac and, after having a comforting breakfast, we will continue visiting the citadel. We will learn about the history of the Atavillos, the pre-Inca culture that built the buildings of this mountaintop fortress, and discover how they carried out their rituals and traditions.

After the tour of Rúpac, we will return on foot to Pampas, where we will have lunch and start our way back to Lima. We will leave you at the pick up point around 7:00 pm.

Lodging and lunches
The tour includes one night's accommodation in a tented camp in Rupac. Lunches are included and consist of a starter, a main course and a drink.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
