Go back to the origins of the Andean civilization, the oldest in America, in this excursion in which we will visit the archaeological city of Caral.
Itinerary
After picking you up at the main hotels in the city at 9:00 a.m., we will head north to the archaeological site where the ruins of the sacred city of Caral remain.
Pyramids, temples and astronomical centers more than 5 thousand years old will welcome us to the first city of the Americas. Located in the Supe Valley, Caral was the cradle of the Andean civilization and is considered the third oldest human settlement in the world, behind Mesopotamia and Egypt.
After getting to know the Caral civilization up close, you will have an hour of free time for lunch before heading to the area of the Wetlands of Paradise.
We will visit the archaeological complex of Bandurria, an ancient fishing village. In addition to seeing pyramids, mounds and circular areas similar to those of Caral, we will approach a natural viewpoint from which we will get a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and the Albufera Paraiso.
At the end of the visit to Bandurria, we will return to Lima. The tour ends returning to the hotels at approximately 8:00 pm.
Pick up place
We pick you up at all hotels in the districts of Miraflores, San Isidro (between 10 and 40 minutes before the start of the tour).
