We will continue our tour in the traditional district of Barranco. On our tour we will appreciate the Central Park, the Bajada de los Baños, the Old Library, the colonial ranches or mansions, the traditional Bridge of Sighs and its famous Boulevard, which is the most bohemian expression of Lima's nightlife. Continuing with our tour, we will visit the district of Chorrillos, once the most famous resort in Lima, which today houses the only natural reserve area of the city, the Pantanos de Villa, which we will have the opportunity to observe.
Pachacamac
Just one hour south of Lima there is an archaeological complex of imposing pyramids and temples built of adobe that until now preserves the mysticism and religiosity of its past, this is the citadel of Pachacamac.
When visiting it you will be able to feel the magical attraction of a sanctuary considered sacred where thousands of pilgrims came to present their offerings and consult the oracle of Pachacamac, who looked at the past, the future and destiny.
We will visit the great temple known as the Acllahuasi where “The chosen ones of the sun” lived, the Painted Temple, the Taurichumbi Palace and the Temple of the Sun among others. In this place, the Incas established one of the main administrative and religious centers of their Empire.
We will also visit the site museum that houses a copy of the idol of the god Pachacamac as well as vestiges found in the area.
