The starting point of our adventure is the pier located on the boulevard of Iquitos, on the first block of Napo Street, at the foot of this lively thoroughfare. Departure is scheduled for 8:50 a.m., with a short wait of an additional 10 minutes.We will begin our journey by crossing the waters of the mighty Itaya and Amazon Rivers, and then enter the winding course of the Nanay River.Our first stop will take us to the native community of Bora, where you will immerse yourself in their rich culture, participating in native dances, admiring their exquisite handicrafts and living the experience of food gathering. We will continue our journey to the native community of the Kukama, known as Kukama Kukamiria, who will be your hosts as you discover their way of life and their important role as guardians of the surrounding nature. Continuing with our journey, we will head to the Pilpintuwasi butterfly farm, where you will be amazed by the colorful beauty of 42 species of butterflies, such as the majestic Blue Morpho and the enigmatic Owl Butterfly, while learning about their fascinating metamorphosis process, at the conclusion of this unforgettable experience, we will return to the pier of the Iquitos boulevard, where we will end our exciting journey.
