Set off on a multi-day private Amazon adventure departing from Leticia. Immerse yourself in nature on this 4-day guided tour and discover Tabatinga, Puerto Nariño, and Tarapoto Lake.
This 4-day trip is designed for bold travelers who want to have an authentic and deeper connection with nature and locals.
Day 1
The journey will start at Leticia’s airport. After you pay the tourism tax, you will meet one of our local guide who will pick you up. Once ready, you will visit the Brazilian border of the Amazon: Tabatinga. Besides you will visit the malokas, the traditional houses of the indigenous communities and learn from their culture. To get there you will hike deep in the rainforest. The guide will hand you rubber boots. You will go back to Leticia and if time is enough, you will the famous Parque de los loros (Park of parrots). You will spend the night in Leticia.
Day 2
Then, on the second day you will visit Puerto Nariño, a beautiful small town with no cars and amazing views. You will make a stop on the Peruvian Amazon to visit an indigenous community. You will also visit a natural reservoir to see the marvelous Victoria Regia, Isla de los Micos and the Tikuna indigenous community. Then, in Puerto Nariño you will head to the hotel. You will be able to decide whether you want to tour around the town or rest the rest of the day.
Day 3
On this day you will leave to Puerto Nariño to go to San Antonio del Cacao, a Peruvian island. You will go in search of sloths and to explore the flora and fauna and learn from the region and its history. You will go back to Puerto Nariño and you will take another boat to Tarapoto Lake. You will spend the night in a hut in front of the river. Here, you will be able to swim, fish, walk around and enjoy a night firepit. (If chosen, you can have a night safari).
Day 4
On the last day you will enjoy the morning in Tarapoto lake and afterwards you will go back to Puerto Nariño and then back to Leticia to finish your trip.

Long pants, long sleeve shirt, waterproof clothes and anti-mosquito are recommendable.
We will hand you rubber boots, please make sure to give us your shoe size.
It is important to carry your own lantern or flashlight. You will walk with it and use it often.
On the 4th night you will be in a place with no electric power.
Keep hydrating constantly and use sunscreen
You will have to be vaccinated against Yellow Fever
We pick-up our clients anywhere within Leticia city - hotels, hostels, accommodations, vacation rentals, points of interest, and also at Alfredo Vasquez Cobo Airport.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
