Iquitos Jungle 4 Day Trip

With the Iquitos Jungle 4-Day Trip, you will discover the heart of the Peruvian Amazon. You will stay in front of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve.
Day 1: Transfer from Iquitos to the jungle lodge. You will be picked up at your hotel or the airport in Iquitos and driven to Nauta, a 2-hour drive. From Nauta, you will take a boat to the lodge, located on the Ucayali River near the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. During the 3-hour boat ride, you can discuss activities with your guide.

Arrival at the lodge: After the boat ride, settle into your room and have lunch. Enjoy an afternoon boat ride to swim with pink dolphins, followed by a sunset tour and evening expedition to see nocturnal animals.

Day 2: Start the day with a jungle walk after breakfast, followed by bird and monkey watching. After lunch, take a boat ride for bird watching. In the evening, go on a boat expedition to see caimans.

Day 3: After breakfast, go fishing for piranhas. In the evening, go on a night walk to see nocturnal animals.

Day 4: Wake up early for a morning boat ride to see Amazonian Victorias, giant water lilies. Return to the lodge for lunch, then depart for Iquitos city at 2:00 PM, either to your accommodation or the airport for your flight back.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
