Jungle + Amazon River Excursion 4 Days

Connect with nature in this incredible Jungle and Amazon River tour, we will learn about observing the union of two rivers that form the majestic Amazon River.
Amazon River – Pink Dolphins
Day 1
Pick up from the meeting point and then we will move to the city of Nauta, from here we will be transported by motor boat to Pamacari where we will sail for 2 hours, during which we will be able to appreciate the union of the Marañon and Ucayali rivers where the majestic Amazon River is born.
Then we can see the famous gray and pink dolphins, we will continue sailing along the Yarapa River until we reach our lodge.
We will have a delicious lunch and after a short rest we will continue sailing by boat and hiking in order to find monkeys and birds.
At the end of the activity we will return for dinner and at night a night walk awaits us to look for tarantulas and other interesting insects.

Cumaceba River
Day 2
We will have an early breakfast and begin our excursion, we will go out by boat on the Cumaceba River where we will observe birds of different colors such as macaws, toucans and others.
We will have a walk in search of monkeys in their own habitat and other species such as otters, parrots, sloths, among others. After the activity we will return to the lodge for a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon we will go out to a lake where we can observe alligators and nocturnal birds until nightfall, and if we are lucky we can also see snakes.

Navigation and hike to the jungle
Day 3
The day begins with a good breakfast, then we will sail towards the Yarapa communal reserve where we will begin our search for prehistoric birds and cornutas.
We will learn to fish for piranhas and other fish, then we will look to see otters in their habitat.
Afterwards we will set up our tents to camp, at night we will go on a short walk with the aim of listening and observing the nocturnal fauna.

Dawn in the Jungle
Day 4
We will get up very early to be able to appreciate a beautiful sunrise in the jungle as well as listen to the awakening of the birds.
Then we will return to the hostel, here we can practice swimming in a suitable place.
Next, we will enjoy a delicious lunch and get ready to return to the city of Nauta.
Return to the city of Iquitos 5:00 p.m.
