DAY 1
Puerto Maldonado - Lodge - Shiringuero Camp - Caiman Safari
11:00 A.M.
Arrival in Puerto Maldonado
Upon arrival at Puerto Maldonado airport, we will be transferred to the pier at Puerto Bolivar for a 40-minute boat ride to our lodge. After settling in and having lunch, we'll explore the lodge's surroundings.
03:30 P.M.
Exploration of the Area
We'll take a guided walk to discover tropical trees and medicinal plants. We'll visit a chestnut camp and a shiringuero camp to see the collection of Brazil nuts and latex.
07:00 P.M.
Caiman Safari
Before dinner, we'll take a boat ride to spot caimans and other nocturnal animals along the riverbank. We'll return for dinner and enjoy the evening in the jungle.
DAY 2
Sandoval Lake - Tambopata National Reserve
05:30 A.M.
Trek to Tambopata National Reserve
After coffee, we'll take a boat to Sandoval Lake and trek through the Tambopata National Reserve, spotting monkeys, birds, and giant trees. After lunch, we'll have free time.
03:30 P.M.
Bird Watching
We'll climb an observation tower to watch birds and enjoy the sunset. Then, we'll have free time at the lodge.
DAY 3
Machiguenga Native Family - Visit to a Chacra
08:00 A.M.
Encounter with a Native Machiguenga Family
After breakfast, we'll meet a Machiguenga family to learn about their traditions. Then, we'll visit a Chacra to taste tropical fruits and local products.
11:00 A.M.
Visit to a Chacra
We'll take a boat ride to the Chacra and enjoy fresh tropical fruits. After returning to the lodge for lunch, we'll have free time to relax.
DAY 4
Parrot Clay Lick
05:30 A.M.
Parrot Clay Lick
We'll walk to the parrot clay lick to observe colorful parrots. After breakfast, we'll return to Puerto Maldonado, visiting a traditional market before ending our tour.

When should I book?
