Description
Express tour of the park's cultural area, a good option if you have just enough time to visit the Peruvian Amazon.
DAY 1: Cusco - Cloud Forest - Pilcopata Lodge
We will leave the city of Cusco by bus, crossing the beautiful valleys of the Andes and the picturesque peasant communities.
We will have lunch along the route in the cloud forest. Then, we will continue our descent. In the afternoon we will arrive at Pilcopata, where we will spend the night in our hostel.
DAY 2: Pilcopata - Aguas Calientes - Boca Manu
We will have breakfast and then we will take a walk through the jungle, where we will be able to observe the fauna of the forest, such as monkeys and birds. We will continue our trip by bus to Puerto Atalaya. We will begin our descent by boat. We will make a stop to relax in the hot springs. Afterwards we will have lunch and continue our trip to Boca Manu, where we will spend the night in our hostel.
DAY 3: Boca Manu - Reserved Zone / Casa Machiguenga
We will leave early to see the parrot clay lick, after which we will make a brief stop at the security checkpoint in Limonal.
We will continue our journey into the heart of the Reserved Zone for approximately 4 hours, where we will spend the next two nights. During this trip we will be able to see countless species of birds. We will spend the night in the rustic Casa Matsiguenka, with shared bathrooms and showers.
DAY 4: Reserved Zone / Cocha Salvador
We will probably be awakened by the cry of the howler monkey. After breakfast, we will take a walk. We will explore the impressive Cocha Salvador, where we will look for giant river otters and many other magnificent species. We will return for lunch and in the afternoon we will take a 3-hour walk to appreciate the diversity of flora and fauna.
DAY 5: Reserved Zone / Lake Otorongo - Boca Manu
After breakfast, we will walk around our lodge and Lake Otorongo. There is an observation tower located 15 meters from the lake that will allow us to appreciate the surrounding primary forest landscape and have a better chance of seeing the family of otters that inhabit the lake. Next, we will board our boat. We will travel to Boca Manu, where we will spend the night.
DAY 6: Boca Manu - Amazon Manu Lodge
We will board our boat along the Alto Madre de Dios River and travel against the current, observing the beautiful landscape of the Amazon rainforest and the enormous diversity of bird species. We will have the option of making a stop at the hot springs. We will continue until we reach Amazon Manu Lodge, where we will spend the last night.
DAY 7: Amazon Manu Lodge - Cusco
We will wake up early in the morning to continue our journey back to Puerto Atalaya. There our car will be waiting to take us back to Cusco, where we will arrive in the afternoon.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
