Day 1: Eco Adventure
8:00 a.m. Meet at our office for registration, then head to Puerto Acosta to board a boat for a 30-minute journey down the Madre de Dios River to Paradise Amazon Ecolodge.
After meeting our staff and settling into the Eco lodge, proceed to our adventure center.
Canopy
Embark on a 200-meter walk through the forest to reach the 35-meter high Canopy Tower, situated at the base of an immense lupuna tree an iconic Amazonian species. Marvel at the possibility of spotting various bird species during daylight while your guide imparts knowledge about the local flora and fauna.
Zip Line
Following the Canopy walk, experience an exhilarating 190-meter zip line ride, traversing a small bridge and another 190-meter zip line. Return to the lodge for lunch.
Lunch
Savor a satisfying lunch, then unwind in the hammocks before the next adventure.
Kayaking
Set out on a downstream kayaking excursion, accompanied by a safety boat. Delight in the Madre de Dios River, enjoying a refreshing bath and unwinding from city life.
Monkey Island
Embark on a 15-minute boat ride to Monkey Island, where Capuchin, Black, and White monkeys are accustomed to human interaction. Return to the lodge by 4:30 pm.
Evening Activity: Caiman Spotting
Board a boat to observe caimans along the riverbanks at night. Return to the lodge for dinner at 7:30 pm.
Day 2: Lake Sandoval
Breakfast
Commence your day with a hearty breakfast to fuel your energy.
9:30 am. Cross the river by boat to reach Lake Sandoval, situated within Tambopata National Reserve. After registration, embark on a 3-kilometer hike (approximately 1 hour) through the forest, observing diverse flora and fauna.
Explore the lake's shores by rowboat, spotting various bird species and the playful River Otters.
Evening Activity: Night Hike
6:30 pm. Set out on a night hike to observe nocturnal wildlife.
Day 3: Native Family Visit & Fishing
8:00 am. Enjoy breakfast.
Visit a native family to experience their customs, learn about their history, art, and support them by purchasing their handmade products.
Fishing
In the afternoon, try your hand at rustic fishing in a nearby stream, targeting species like catfish and piranhas.
