Puerto Maldonado: Tour of Puerto Maldonado for 3 days

Day 1: Hike and boat ride
As soon as you arrive at the airport or the bus station in Puerto Maldonado, your guide will be waiting to take you to your accommodation, located in the heart of the Tambopata National Park. After dropping off our luggage, we will eat and take a walk along leafy trails. We will see birds, turtles, monkeys and other animals. In the evening, we will enjoy a unique sunset while taking a boat ride. We will have dinner and rest until the next day.

Day 2: Lake Sandoval
Ring Ring. We will enjoy a complete breakfast until 9:30, when we will begin a hiking route to Lake Sandoval. Accompanied by the guide, we will walk 3 kilometers through the Amazon jungle of Tambopata discovering much more about its fauna and flora. Tarantulas, snakes, squirrels, otters, herons, alligators... We will return to the cabins to eat and, in the evening, we will take a short night walk. We'll have dinner and... go to sleep!

Day 3: Parrot and macaw clay lick
We will get up early to have breakfast and head, at 4:15 a.m., to the parrot and macaw clay lick. An incredible bird watching experience. With dawn, we will begin to see how dozens of parrots arrive at a clay wall to feed. We will take advantage of the day to go fishing in Lake Anaconda. After the excursion we will return to the cabins and, with a little luck, we will run into a sloth bear. We will finish the circuit by taking you back to the Puerto Maldonado airport or the bus station.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
