Sunset tour in the Jungle and Encounter with Capybaras

Begin your adventure by leaving the Plaza de Armas in Puerto Maldonado and heading to the river port. Board a boat for a pleasant journey along the Madre de Dios River. During the trip, observe different bird species, such as herons, parrots, and kingfishers, while enjoying the natural surroundings.

Upon arriving at the access point, we will walk for approximately 45 minutes along Amazonian trails. The route will allow you to delve deeper into the rainforest, surrounded by abundant vegetation, butterflies, and possible signs of wildlife.

Arrive at Lake Sandoval, where you will board a canoe to peacefully explore its waters and surroundings. During the trip, you will have the opportunity to observe monkeys, birds, and various aquatic species in their natural habitat. We will continue navigating in search of capybaras, one of the most representative animals of the Amazonian fauna.

One of the highlights of the experience will be watching the Amazonian sunset. Enjoy the colors of the sky reflected in the waters of the lake, accompanied by the natural sounds of the rainforest. At the end of the experience, we will return by boat along the Madre de Dios River and then transfer to the center of Puerto Maldonado, where your Amazon adventure will conclude in the late afternoon.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
