DIVE INTO A CULTURAL ADVENTURE LIKE NO OTHER ON LAKE TITICACA, A TOTAL IMMERSION EXPERIENCE WITH A CULTURAL WORKSHOP AND SWIMMING CERTIFICATION IN THE LEGENDARY TITICACA
7:00 AM Pickup from downtown hotels

7:30 am total immersion in Uros; the Totora class: a Uro leader will guide you in a participatory demonstration of totora cutting and the maintenance of the floating islands.

9:45 am: Sail to the natural island of Taquile.

11:00 am Cultural Encounter in Taquile (interactive workshop) Weaving workshop. The community will showcase their traditional fabrics, and you'll have the chance to try your hand at spinning or weaving, understanding the meaning of each garment.

12:30 PM Gourmet Andean Lunch. Taste a typical menu of the region with a touch of Andean haute cuisine, which includes a main dish based on fresh trout from the lake and a traditional drink based on muña.

1:45 pm Swim in Lake Titicaca and get a certificate. We'll head to a safe, designated bay to give you the unique opportunity to briefly swim in the waters of the highest lake. At the end, you'll receive a digital souvenir or a symbolic certificate.

4:00 PM Comfortable return
to your hotel in Puno or the city center.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
