Excursion to Sillustani, Pucará and Lampa

History and nature come together on this excursion to Sillustani, Pucará and Lampa. We will see the colonial architecture of the pink city and pre-Incan archaeological sites.
After picking you up at the meeting point at the indicated time, we will begin the excursion to Sillustani, Pucará and Lampa. Are you ready to discover its main natural and historical attractions? Let's go! Our first stop will be at the archaeological site of Sillustani, a place located almost 4,000 meters above sea level. Here we will admire the impressive chullpas of Sillustani, funerary towers of pre-Incan cultures that will leave you completely speechless. We will return to the vehicle and head to Lampa, known as the city of the seven wonders. Why is that? We will spend an hour and a half on a guided tour of the historic center of Lampa, which stands out for the color of its houses. We will walk through narrow streets to the church of Santiago Apóstol, the main temple of the city. We will visit the interior of this parish from the colonial era and go back to the 17th century to learn about its history. Afterwards, we will head to our last destination, Pucará. We will learn about one of the main pre-Incan civilizations by visiting the stone museum, where we will see rock sculptures and ceramics belonging to the ancient Pucará culture. We will visit the archaeological site of Pucará, whose origins date back to 200 BC. In this site, made up of a residential area and a ceremonial area, we will see very ancient ruins and remains of stepped pyramids dedicated to different deities. We will finish the excursion ten hours later, leaving you at the initial meeting point.
