Forget ordinary wine hikes! Warm rays of sunshine, colorful vines and pure enjoyment: Embark on a relaxing journey through time right in the middle of the Palatinate vineyards with our certified cultural and wine ambassador.

We build a bridge from the historical roots surrounding the Roman god of wine, Bacchus, to modern, sustainable organic viticulture. In interactive mini-episodes, you will be entertained as you dive into the history of Palatinate wine and suddenly find yourself right in the thick of the action. An afternoon full of lightness, during which you will taste, experience and understand the Palatinate with all your senses!

Your experience itinerary:
* A delightful start: Begin at the J.F. Ohler winery in Gimmeldingen with a welcome Riesling and a delicious mini Saumagen burger (vegetarian/with cheese option also available).
* Stroll through the vines: A leisurely hike with fantastic panoramic views, two more wine tastings and homemade snacks right in the vineyard.
* Historic town center & winery visits: Explore the picturesque town center and visit renowned family wineries for two more firsthand tastings.
* In between, we'll casually delve into the history of viticulture from time to time or take a look at what's currently happening in the vineyards.
* Finale & gift: Find the patron saint Christopher, receive a little surprise, and take home a bottle of wine as a souvenir.

The tour is also available as a non-alcoholic version with a 0% wine or grape juice.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
