Your day begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Cebu City, Mandaue City, or Lapu-Lapu City (Mactan). Relax in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle as you travel south to Oslob, one of Cebu’s most famous destinations for whale shark encounters.

Upon arrival in Oslob, our team will assist you with registration and the local queue process. Enjoy a complimentary Filipino silog breakfast, served depending on the day’s queue and activity schedule—either while waiting for your turn or after your whale shark experience.

Before entering the water, attend the mandatory safety briefing covering the local rules and responsible interaction guidelines. When your number is called, board a local boat and proceed to the designated whale shark interaction area. Enter the water and swim or snorkel near these gentle marine giants while following the instructions of the local guides. Snorkeling equipment and life vests are provided.

Guests booking the Private Tour option receive FREE GoPro photography during the Oslob whale shark swimming activity only, allowing you to capture underwater memories of your experience. The Shared/Group Tour also includes the complimentary silog breakfast, but free GoPro photography is not included.

After your whale shark experience, continue to Simala Shrine in Sibonga for a complimentary sightseeing visit. Explore the impressive church complex, admire its distinctive architecture, take photos, and enjoy time for prayer or quiet reflection. Please remember that Simala Shrine is a religious site, so appropriate clothing and respectful behavior are required.

After Simala Shrine, continue to Carcar City for a lunch stop. You may choose and purchase your preferred meal at a local restaurant. Lunch is not included in the tour price and is at the guest’s own expense.

After lunch, relax in your air-conditioned vehicle as you travel back to Cebu. The tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

Choose the Shared/Group Tour to travel with other guests on a coordinated schedule. Complimentary silog breakfast is included, but free GoPro photography is not included.

Whale sharks are wild marine animals, so sightings and interaction conditions may vary. The itinerary and timing may also change depending on the Oslob queue, traffic, weather, sea conditions, Simala Shrine operating conditions, and local regulations.

If the supplier cancels the tour because of unsafe weather, government restrictions, safety concerns, or other circumstances preventing the tour from operating, affected guests may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
