Description

Join a professional guide for a tour of Wawel Castle and Cathedral. Walk through royal chambers, admire richly decorated chapels, and uncover the stories that shaped Poland’s remarkable history.
Discover two of Kraków’s most famous landmarks on Wawel Hill, a site that has symbolized Polish royal power and cultural heritage for centuries. This guided experience is ideal for travelers interested in history, art, and architecture.

Your licensed guide will lead you through the elegant State Rooms of the Royal Castle, now one of Poland’s most important museums. Take in Renaissance interiors, impressive tapestries, and highlights from the Lanckoroński collection of Italian paintings. Exhibitions of porcelain, weaponry, and Eastern art — including Europe’s largest collection of Ottoman tents — reflect Poland’s historical connections between East and West.

The tour continues to the Gothic Wawel Cathedral, long associated with royal ceremonies and coronations. Admire richly ornamented chapels, golden domes, and remarkable craftsmanship. Climb the tower for panoramic views over Kraków and the chance to touch the Sigismund Bell, then visit the royal crypts where many of Poland’s most significant rulers and national figures are buried.
