Book a 4-hour Jewish tour of Krakow. The former capital of Poland was once one of the largest Jewish communities in Europe. Follow the history of Jewish people from their prosperity in the Middle Ages to the devastation caused by the Holocaust while exploring the streets of Kazimierz and Podgorze. You will walk through the famed ‘Schindler’s Passage’ and visit the Old Synagogue, which is the oldest Jewish place of worship still standing in Poland. You will also visit the Remuh Synagogue and the Old Jewish Cemetery, which was almost completely destroyed by the Nazis. After a short coffee break we will take you to the Oskar Schindler’s Enamel Factory Museum, where you can learn about the efforts to save Jewish people in Krakow from the ghetto, concentration camps, and death.
