Step into the creative heart of Wrocław and discover the city’s rich ceramic tradition in a hands-on workshop set in Nadodrze, the artistic quarter just minutes from the Main Market Square. Guided by an experienced educator and art therapist, you’ll explore the world of ceramics in a relaxed, inspiring studio that doubles as a local art gallery.

Begin your session by learning the basics of working with clay and discussing your project ideas. Whether you arrive with a vision or find inspiration on the spot, you’ll be guided through each step: shaping your piece, experimenting with form and texture, and applying vibrant slips (engobes) and specialized paints to decorate your creation. The process is designed to be pressure-free, encouraging curiosity and the joy of making.

Once your piece is crafted, it will dry for about three weeks before being bisque-fired. The instructor will then apply a transparent glaze and fire it again at 1250°C, ensuring a durable, beautiful finish. Your finished ceramic will be ready for collection within five weeks, or can be shipped to you for an additional fee if you’re not local. The workshop concludes in the studio, leaving you with new skills, a unique memory, and your own handmade artwork.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
