Description

Come and discover the hidden sides of the Sete Cidades on an off-road tour, a unique experience. You'll be amazed by the scenery at the top of the volcano's crater and hidden lagoons.
Discover the magic of the Seven Cities on an all-terrain tour. The adventure kicks off at the Aqueduct and the Nine Windows Wall, an impressive historical construction. Next, you'll head to the start of the Cumeeira and up to Pico da Cruz, two of the highest points in the crater, where the panoramic views over the entire valley and its lagoons will enchant you.

Leaving the first point, we'll follow the off-road route along agricultural paths used today for pastures on the mountain summit, reaching the Miradouro das Cumeiras, one of the most authentic and least touristy places in Sete Cidades, perfect for taking in the grandeur of the caldera. The experience continues with a visit to the center of the parish, where you'll see incredible places like the Gruta do Pastor, the famous peninsula, and the shallow lagoon—spots that define Sete Cidades with their beauty and history.

We'll stop in the center of the Sete Cidades parish for a short walk and a coffee break, taking the opportunity to soak up the local atmosphere.

There'll be a lunch break before we head to the peaceful Lagoa Rasa. Then we'll head up to the Lagoa de Santiago, surrounded by dense vegetation and one of the most beautiful views on the island. Don't miss the iconic Vista do Rei viewpoint, the most famous spot in Sete Cidades.

For nature lovers, you can take the Lagoa do Canário trail, a short but very rewarding route with stunning views. In the late afternoon, we'll head back to Ponta Delgada, wrapping up a day full of unforgettable landscapes.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
