Step into the world of Portuguese azulejos and create your own hand-painted tile in a professional Lisbon studio.
The Benfica area is located close to Lisbon and offers a more authentic, local experience away from the main mass-tourism zones. In this immersive workshop, you’ll learn how traditional tiles are made and painted, guided by an experienced artist. You’ll start by transferring a design onto your tile, then explore color application techniques used in historic Portuguese tiles.
Whether you choose a classic pattern or create your own design, this experience is about slowing down, working with your hands, and connecting with Lisbon’s artistic heritage.
At the end of the session, your tile will be kiln-fired, and will be ready for collection or shipping in 2 or 3 days.
This is a hands-on, creative experience designed for all levels — no prior skills required.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
