Description

One of the most famous events on Madeira Island. It celebrates, along with fireworks, the arrival of summer and also the fire competition on Saturdays in June.
This special boat tour for the Atlantic Festival offers an exclusive and unforgettable way to watch the fireworks display from the sea. The experience kicks off at the port of Funchal, where you'll board the Bonita da Madeira, a comfortable boat prepared to offer a memorable night.

After boarding, each guest gets a welcome drink, setting the perfect mood to relax and enjoy the start of the tour. The boat starts sailing along the Bay of Funchal, giving you privileged views of the illuminated city.

During the trip, you can enjoy the on-board bar, with drinks available for purchase, or opt for the open bar service, available for an additional €25 per person, which includes a selection of drinks throughout the tour.

The highlight of the experience is at night, when the Atlantic Festival show begins. From the boat, you'll watch the fireworks launched from the bay, synchronized with music. The experience offers excellent opportunities for photos and unique moments away from the crowds on land.

The trip lasts about 2 hours and 30 minutes, ending with your return to the port of Funchal.

On a Saturday of your choice in June, you'll have the chance to enjoy this experience aboard a classic boat in Madeira, elegantly and specially prepared to provide comfort, safety, and a sophisticated atmosphere. Right in the heart of Funchal Bay, this experience is all about the perfect combination of Madeira's seascape and celebration.

The meeting point is: Marina Nova do Funchal, Pier 8 - next to the Bonita da Madeira kiosk - there is a white wall (landmark: Café O Verdinho). The kiosk will be closed due to the time of day, and it will not be possible to contact the Back Office team. If you have any questions regarding the meeting point, we suggest that you contact us in advance or visit our kiosk in person so that you can easily find our meeting point on the day of the trip. All customers must arrive 20-30 minutes in advance. A member of the crew will meet you there.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
