Every weekend a traditional Madeiran market takes place, which consists of genuine products and plenty of gastronomy. This is an event which brings locals and tourists alike together, as they relish in Madeira's diverse culture together.
At this location various Quintas (farming ranches) are also available for the public to visit for free. As the market in Santo closes you will head to the Funchal Farm Market to visit an amazing building constructed on 1940. There you will also be able to see examples of the various fruits, vegetables, and flowers that the island has to offer.
