Enjoying your vacation in the beautiful city of Oporto but unsure as to where to start with so much to do? Take this chance to get acquainted with one of the major rivers of the Iberian Peninsula as well as the region that birthed the famous Port Wine.
Meet your guide at the Estiva quay in Oporto, then board a boat heading to Régua, known worldwide as the capital of the Vine and Wine. Enjoy some breakfast on board while sailing through the Douro waters, admiring the breathtaking valley.
Go through the Crestuma-Lever Dam (height of 14 meters) and the Carrapatelo Dam (height 35 meters). Appreciate the lunch served onboard and get to know the history behind the region while listening to your audioguides in four different languages.
Get off the boat and visit Régua at your own pace. After enjoying some free time, you will head back to Oporto, arriving at 7:15pm. This route will be made by train if there is availability by the CP (Railroad Company).
