Do something different during your time in Porto and explore the city and its surroundings by bike and boat. Cycle through the Natural Reserve of the Douro Estuary, cruise under bridges aboard a rabelo boat and taste the local port wines.
Escape the hustle and bustle of Porto city center and discover the beauty of the Douro Valley by bike and boat. Collect your bike and chosen pack to cycle towards the city of Gaia over the Dom Luis I Bridge. Use the provided map to locate recommended best places to visit and stop for a drink.

Board a typical rabelo boat and sail under some of the bridges that connect the 2 cities of Porto and Gaia. Arrive in the fishing village of Afurada, famous for its restaurants, and enjoy some regional snacks off the usual tourist trail.

Then, cycle along the bike paths of the Natural Reserve of the Douro Estuary and discover some of the beautiful beaches of Gaia. Return towards the starting point and visit a port wine cellar to taste some of the local wines.
