A complete immersion in the tradition of Furnas. We'll follow the process of making Cozido das Furnas from the beginning.
Experience the authenticity of Azorean cuisine with a full immersion in the legendary tradition of Furnas. This unique experience lets you closely follow the entire sacred ritual of Cozido das Furnas. It all starts in the kitchen, where the chef meticulously prepares the pot, layer by layer, with the best local ingredients. Then, you'll witness the magical and almost ancestral moment when the pot is carefully buried in the volcanic earth, where natural geysers slowly cook it for hours.

The climax comes when the pot is pulled out, emerging from the earth still shrouded in aromatic and intense vapors, a spectacle for the senses. The tasting takes place at the table of the À TERRA restaurant, where the flavors, intensified by geothermal cooking, come to life in a true celebration of the palate.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
