Enjoy a unique, immersive Creole culinary experience in Réunion, conceived and led by Chef Kréol Nomade, at exceptional locations, around a wood fire.

In an unspoiled natural setting (forest, river, or seaside, depending on the weather), you will be welcomed in a small group to enjoy much more than just a workshop: an authentic immersion in Creole culture, combining cultural heritage, nature, and conviviality.

⏰ The experience takes place over a full day, typically from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Working alongside the chef, you will actively participate in preparing a complete Creole meal (starter, main courses, side dishes, and dessert) using fresh local ingredients. Each experience is tailored to the group based on a questionnaire sent out in advance (covering preferences, allergies, and dietary requirements).

You will discover the essential techniques of Creole cuisine: preparing spices, cooking over a wood fire, organizing a kitchen in the heart of nature… all in a lively and participatory atmosphere. The experience is also enriched by a cultural dimension, focusing on the history and traditions of Réunion Island. Chef Kréol Nomade is an official partner of the Tourist Office and represents the island through various projects, film shoots, and collaborations.

Depending on the location, the weather, and the day’s conditions, the experience can be enhanced by an immersive break in the heart of nature: swimming in a river or under a waterfall, exploring unspoiled sites, spending time by the sea, or even observing turtles in their natural environment, always with respect for the environment.

To ensure the best possible conditions, the exact location is not disclosed in advance. The chef selects the location based on the weather and the quality of the experience. You will receive a message with the meeting point details the day before. A vehicle is required to reach the site, which is still easily accessible.

After the preparation, it’s time to enjoy the full menu in a unique natural setting, for an experience that is culinary, personal, and sensory all at once.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
