Pickup is at 08:30 AM from Brasov, traveling in a modern Ford Mondeo Hybrid (2020) with air conditioning, onboard Wi-Fi, and complimentary bottled water.

Total duration: approximately 9–10 hours (depending on traffic and season).

The itinerary below applies Tuesday through Sunday. On Mondays, the order changes because Bran Castle opens at 12:00 PM (see Monday schedule below).

Bran Castle

Visit duration: approx. 1 hour 30 minutes.

Built in 1388 as a fortress guarding the mountain pass between Transylvania and Wallachia, Bran Castle became famous through the Dracula legend. Although its connection to Vlad the Impaler is limited, its medieval architecture and dramatic hilltop setting make it Romania’s most visited castle.

Departure toward Sinaia: approx. 10:30–11:00 (or 13:30 on Mondays).

Peles Castle (Sinaia)

Estimated arrival: 12:00–13:00 (±30 minutes depending on traffic)
Recommended ticket window: 12:45–14:30 entry slot.
Visit duration: 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Built between 1873 and 1914 as the summer residence of King Carol I, Peles Castle is one of Europe’s most impressive royal residences. It was the first European castle fully powered by electricity and features over 160 richly decorated rooms.

• Wednesday: 10:00 – 17:00
• Thursday–Sunday: 09:15 – 17:00

⚠ Important:
On Mondays and Tuesdays, Peles Castle interior is closed. Only the exterior and gardens can be visited.

Lunch Break in Sinaia

After visiting Peles, there is 45–60 minutes free time for lunch in Sinaia before continuing.

Cantacuzino Castle (Busteni)

Built in 1911 by Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino, this Neo-Romanian palace offers spectacular views of the Bucegi Mountains and became internationally known as the filming location for “Nevermore Academy” in the Netflix series Wednesday.
