From Bucharest: 7-Day Adventure Tour in Romania

Discover Romania during a 7-day adventure. Discover its people, dishes, nature and wilderness. Each day of this tour will be a key moment in your story and you will get to participate in special workshops, meet the locals and track wild animals.
Explore the wonders of Romania during an amazing 7-day tour. On the first day, you will be introduced to Bucharest through a city tour and a traditional dinner. You will start your journey through Transylvania on the second day and discover the fortress of the infamous Vlad the Impaler, Poenari Fortress and be taken on a road trip through Transfagarasan, visiting the Vidraru Dam in the process.

On the third day of your tour, you will be introduced to the dishes and people of Transylvania. Learn to bake a potato bread, visit a local family with an animal farm, take a bike ride through Transylvania’s villages and at night, you will explore Sibiu on a city tour. On the next day, you will travel back in time to the medieval age and visit the Biertan Fortified Church and Sighisoara, two important UNESCO sites. On the following day, you will meet some more of Transylvania’s people, including some local craftsmen. You will learn the art of making ceramics, enjoy some homemade cookies and jams, take a horse-drawn carriage ride and visit a buffalo farm in order to sample some cheese products.

The sixth day will be filled with activities introducing you to Romania’s nature and wildlife. You will explore the Tampa Mountain Natural Reservation, and admire the beautiful city of Brasov from the top of the mountain. You will then take a cable car ride back to the city in order to discover the medieval city through a walking tour. The rest of the day will be booked for a bear tracking session through the wild forests of the Carpathians, guided by a trained professional. On the last day of your tour, you will explore Bran Castle in search of Dracula, and take a tour of Peles Castle, the former summer residence of Romania’s royal family. The last activity of the tour will be a trip to the Rhein & CIE Azuga Wine Cellars, where you will sample some of Romania’s delicious wine. You will then head back to Bucharest for your departure.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
