Track both of Rwanda’s great apes, mountain gorillas and chimpanzees, see some of the country’s other specialised and striking primates and Nyungwe Canopy walk and Tea plantation experience as well.
Day 1
Arrive in Kigali, meet by your guide, spend the night at a hand-picked hotel.
Day 2
Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, drive south to Butare.
Day 3
Enjoy a chimpanzee trek in the morning, spend the afternoon on the canopy walk away, overnight at hand-picked lodge.
Day 4
Guided Bird watching / walk , Rwenzori colobus in the morning before driving north for lunch at Kibuye and an afternoon transfer north to Gisenyi, overnight at hand-picked hotel.
Day 5
Drive to the Virunga Volcanoes, enjoy an inspiring gorilla trek, overnight at hand-picked lodge.
Day 6
Discover the other endemic primate – the golden monkey, experience local culture, overnight at hand-picked lodge.
Day 7
Discover Akagera national park, and enjoy a boat ride.
Day 8
Enjoy the game driver.
Day 9
Back to Kigali for return flight.
