Begin your adventure with a pickup from your port or accommodation. Set off on a sightseeing tour in a private vehicle through the historical, bicultural city of Basseterre. Pass the National Museum, the Berkeley Memorial, and Independence Square while listening to your guide explain the island’s complex history.

Next, head through the lush rainforest, more than a quarter of the landmass to pass by the sugar plantations, previously farmed by slaves for two centuries, and on to the beautiful Botanical Garden and Romney Manor, a 17th-century sugar plantation. After the fortress, take about a 15-minute drive to the historic Black Rocks for beautiful island views. Your guide will point out other highlights and historical facts along the way. Timothy Hill is the last stop on this tour, where you will visit the South East Peninsula, where the Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea meet.
