Description
Walk along one of the lesser-known trails in Cinque Terre with a licensed local guide. Visit a beautiful olive grove where you'll find two friendly ponies! Enjoy a delightful refreshment!
Hike one of the least known but most captivating trails in the Cinque Terre.
After a brief but engaging visit to the town of Vernazza, we will begin our ascent along the enchanting mule track, reaching the 13th-century Sanctuary of Our Lady of Reggio, located at an elevation of approximately 1,080 feet (330 meters), in about an hour. During the climb, we will enjoy stunning views of the Cinque Terre coastline, with its characteristic terraces supported by miles of dry stone walls, where olive trees and grapevines are grown to produce fine wines.
In front of the shaded Piazzale del Santuario, a monumental cypress (the oldest in Liguria!) and a majestic holm oak stand out.
Before heading back down, we will visit the enchanting olive grove of the Azienda Agricola La Bottega, where Ligurian PDO extra virgin olive oil is produced. You will also have the opportunity to visit two friendly ponies, who are the farm's mascots. In the shade of a pear tree, you can enjoy light refreshments, including a tasting of Cinque Terre extra virgin olive oil and our La Bottega wine, accompanied by traditional Ligurian focaccia. For children, locally produced, zero-mile juices will be available.

- Lunch is not included; however, a small tasting of traditional Cinque Terre products, such as wine and oil, accompanied by typical Ligurian focaccia, is included.
- The hike is not at all strenuous; the duration is approximately 3 hours, including the visit to the olive grove and the tasting.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
