Day 1: Arrival in Bucharest
Welcome to Bucharest. After your arrival in Bucharest, make your own way to the hotel already booked for you by Choose Balkans, where you will be welcomed by hotel staff assisting you with the check-in procedures. After freshening up and settling in, spend your first day exploring the city at your own pace. Overnight in Bucharest.
Day 2: Bucharest – Bran – Brasov
Our tour leader will come and pick you up at your hotel in Bucharest in the morning. As you travel towards your first destination of this 8-day tour, enjoy the scenic views of the Romanian countryside. Your first stop for today will be Bran, a small village famous for Bran Castle.
Visit the local market, where you can find handmade crafts, souvenirs, and delicious treats. Overnight in Brasov.
Day 3: Brasov – Sighișoara
Visit Brasov, one of Romania’s most beautiful cities. Head towards Piața Sfatului (Council Square), the vibrant heart of the city. Marvel at the colorful Baroque buildings and the impressive Black Church, the main Gothic style monument in Romania and the largest Lutheran place of worship in the region. Later, set off on your journey to Sighișoara, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its medieval charm. Overnight in Sighișoara.
Day 4: Sighișoara – Cluj Napoca – Alba Iulia – Sibiu
After breakfast, drive towards your next destination, the city of Cluj Napoca, one of Romania's largest cities. Your first stop will be the Saint Andrew’s Cathedral, a stunning example of Neo-Gothic architecture. From Alba Carolina, drive to your least destinations of the day, Sibiu. Overnight in Sibiu.
Day 5: Sibiu – Castelul Corvinilor (Corvins' Castle) – Timisoara
Start with a city tour of Sibiu, a city that was named the European Capital of Culture in 2007, where you will take a walking tour of a city that blends history and multicultural elements. After having some free time, embark on your journey towards Corvins' Castle.Overnight in Timisoara.
Day 6: Timisoara – Novi Sad (Serbia)
Before heading back to Serbia, have a city tour of Timișoara. Pass by the sites of the hammam (Turkish public bath), bazaar (marketplace), Central Mosque, and cemetery. After exploring Timișoara, head towards Novi Sad in Serbia. Overnight in Novi Sad.
Day 7: Novi Sad – Sremski Karlovci – Belgrade
After breakfast, have a city tour of Novi Sad, considered to be the cultural capital of northern Serbia. Explore the old town walking through the pedestrian streets passing by Zmaj Jovina and Dunavska. Overnight in Belgrade.
Day 8: Day tour of Belgrade – End of the tour
Visit Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Your first stop will be Belgrade Fortress and Kalemegdan Park, where Belgrade started as a human settlement a very long time ago. In the Upper Town of the Belgrade Fortress, visit the Pobednik monument with a history dating back to 1913. This marks the end of this 8-day tour through Romania and Serbia.

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
