Description

From Mediterranean coastline to the Dinaric Alps, from turquoise bays and dramatic canyons to fertile plains and vibrant capitals, the Balkans offer incredible contrasts at every step of the journey.
The Balkans are not a place you simply visit, it's a region you experience with all your senses. In just two weeks, this journey takes you through one of Europe’s most diverse crossroads of cultures, landscapes, and histories.

Your adventure begins in Belgrade, a city shaped by centuries of empires and cultural exchange. At the meeting point of the Danube and Sava rivers, Serbia’s capital blends Ottoman heritage, Austro-Hungarian elegance, socialist architecture, and a vibrant modern spirit. After settling in, you’ll enjoy a traditional Serbian dinner - your first taste of the region’s renowned hospitality.

The tour continues to Zagreb, Croatia’s charming capital, where a walking tour reveals its historic squares and lively streets. The next day brings you to Slovenia and the fairytale scenery of Lake Bled – alpine peaks, emerald waters, a tiny island church, and a medieval castle overlooking the lake.

Heading south, the scenery transforms as you reach Rovinj, a jewel of the Adriatic with colorful facades and narrow stone streets rising from the sea. Nature takes center stage at Plitvice Lakes National Park, famous for its turquoise lakes and cascading waterfalls.

In Split, Roman history lives within Diocletian’s Palace, where ancient walls surround cafes, homes, and bustling squares. The journey then slows on the island of Korčula, known for its medieval charm, local wines, and crystal-clear waters. Here, you can relax on sandy beaches, cycle through vineyards, or explore nearby islets by boat.

Crossing into Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mostar’s iconic Old Bridge and Ottoman streets reflect centuries of cultural fusion. Nearby Kravice Waterfalls offer a refreshing stop before continuing to Trebinje. From there, a day trip to Dubrovnik allows you to walk its famous city walls overlooking the Adriatic.

Montenegro’s Durmitor National Park marks a dramatic shift to high mountains and untouched wilderness. Glacial lakes, dense forests, and the spectacular Tara River Canyon create a landscape perfect for hiking, scenic drives, or optional rafting adventures.

In Sarajevo, where East meets West, minarets stand beside churches and bazaars blend into Austro-Hungarian avenues. A guided tour reveals the city’s layered and complex past.

The final leg returns you to Belgrade, completing a full circle through the heart of the Balkans. With memories of coastal sunsets, mountain vistas, historic cities, and warm local encounters, you’ll leave not just having visited the region, but truly having experienced it.
